Experience: Hoddle has more than 16 years of prosecutorial and courtroom experience. Hoddle is Senior Deputy District Attorney. He has successfully prosecuted hundreds of cases and has trial experience in a wide variety of cases including Murder, Kidnapping, Rape, Sodomy, Burglary, Assault, Vehicular Manslaughter and DUII. Steve is the current Chair of the Douglas County Child Abuse Multidisciplinary Team, he is a member of the Douglas County Major Crimes Team, a member of the Elder Abuse Multidisciplinary Team, and on the Measure 11 Staffing Committee. Along with maintaining his own caseload he has helped provide guidance and direction to other attorneys in the office.

Family: Steve lives in Roseburg with his wife Sheri Hoddle and their two children Alexander and Olivia

Community: Hoddle has been volunteering for over a decade throughout Douglas County to support youth programs. Steve Hoddle has been on the Board of Directors at Cobb Street Learning Center, contributed to the Boys and Girls Club, asssisted the Miss Douglas County Scholarship program. He also has coached many YMCA youth teams, including serving as the head coach of his son’s YMCA basketball team along with coaching for Umpqua Valley Cal Ripken.
